Privacy

This site is operated by Dot Product Pty Ltd. This page explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to get it removed. It is written to the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

If you complete the form, we collect the answers you select, any free text you type, and the contact details you enter: your name, work email address and, if you provide it, your phone number.

We also record which pages you visit on this site and how far you get through the form, so we can tell whether the pitch and the questions are working. That record holds two random identifiers, the pages you viewed, how far down each page you scrolled and how long you spent on it, the page you came from within this site, your rough traffic source, whether you were on mobile or desktop, and your country.

Both identifiers are generated randomly in your browser and hold nothing derived from you or your device. The first is discarded when you close the tab. The second is kept in your browser's local storage so that if you come back later we can tell it is the same visit continuing rather than a new person, which is how we judge whether a page is doing its job. You can clear it at any time by clearing site data for this site in your browser.

That identifier belongs to this website only. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not link you between this site and any other site we run.

Why we collect it

To contact you about the product described on this page, and to understand whether there is genuine demand for it. We are testing an idea, so how many people reach each step is the point of the exercise.

Who we share it with, and where it is stored

We use a small number of service providers to run this site. Some store data outside Australia, which means your information may be held overseas:

• Cloudflare hosts the site, stores submissions, and provides cookieless visitor statistics and bot protection (Turnstile). Global infrastructure, including the United States.
• Folk is our customer relationship system, where your contact details and answers are stored. European Union.
• Resend sends the confirmation email to you and the notification to us. United States.

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone else for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details until you ask us to delete them, or until they are no longer useful to us, whichever comes first. The anonymous funnel statistics are kept indefinitely, because they cannot be traced back to a person.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@procurementcontext.com and we will action it. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your information, email privacy@procurementcontext.com and we will look into it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
